Dissertation Procedures for Staff

Graduate program administrators coordinate the procedures for the departmental review of dissertations and see that the Departmental Approval Form is completed and signed. Departmental review of the dissertation takes place when the dissertation is in its final form and ready to be submitted. After the department approves the dissertation, the student uploads the signed Departmental Approval Form to Knowledge@UChicago and submits the approved final dissertation to Knowledge@UChicago. The Dissertation Office reviews the student's formatting and emails the student, copying their graduate program administrator.
