John Crerar Foundation Science Writing Prize for College Students Information Session

Undergraduates are invited to attend an online information session about the University of Chicago Library’s annual John Crerar Foundation Science Writing Prize for College Students. This competitive award for excellence and clarity in science writing acknowledges the ability of a UChicago College student to produce a paper, on a scientific topic, which is thorough in its arguments but accessible to a broad readership. First Prize is $1500, Second Prize is $500 and Third Prize is $300. This session will provide information about the Prize, including its scope, submission guidelines, and deadlines. As all paper submissions must include references and a bibliography, the session will also provide an overview of Library research tools and techniques for conducting your literature review.
